Children’s Grove of Columbia

Children’s Grove was born out of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Concerned citizens envisioned a public place of peace to symbolize our community’s commitment to the well-being of children everywhere. A grove of beautiful trees was planted in the northeast corner of Stephens Lake Park in Columbia, Mo.  The organization’s mission is to inspire a culture of kindness and to support the mental and emotional well​-being of our youth.
